Mars Bar Rice Krispie Squares

Mars Bar Rice Krispie Squares were on my “to-make” list for a long time. I first came across these in the Avoca store on Suffolk Street and later found the recipe here. A few weeks ago, I finally got around to actually making them.

They require just four ingredients and take less than ten minutes to put together. They couldn’t be easier to make and they’re as delicious as you would expect them to be. Indulgent without being sickly sweet, these squares are the perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea or coffee.

I used two tins and I was way too generous adding the milk chocolate topping to the first batch so the second batch had to go without…but they were still incredibly good anyway!

I brought these in to work and everybody loved them. They’re easy to transport too which is always a bonus…and probably the only way to stop myself from single-handedly eating the lot!
