It just wouldn’t be Easter (or really any holiday, in my opinion) without lots of chocolate!
As it had been absolute ages since I’d done any baking, I decided to put together some classic chocolate cupcakes.
I made the cakes themselves from scratch but turned to Dr Oetker Easy Swirl Cupcake Icing to finish them off. I’d seen this in the shops for quite some time now and curiosity finally got the better of me.
I was really pleased to find that this comes with 4 different nozzles. Of course, I just had to try out each one! It’s so easy to use although I might need a little more practice to achieve perfect results! The icing itself actually tastes pretty good too — rich and and sweet and creamy. For a final finishing touch, I added Mini Eggs…because chocolate cupcakes are always best when they’re topped off with even more chocolate!
