Balance Me Radiance Face Mask

I seem to be all about the magazine beauty gifts this week! On Monday, I reviewed the Nails Inc. nail polish that comes with this month’s Marie Claire. Today I’m looking at the Balance Me face mask from this month’s Glamour.

Throughout March, Glamour readers have a choice of four gifts which also include a body wash, face wash or tinted lip salve.  I was drawn to the face mask because — for some reason — it’s just not a product I use that often. This particular one promises to polish, hydrate and smooth skin which sounded pretty good to me!

Now I’ve only used this once and immediately after, my face felt so soft and smooth and my complexion even looked brighter too. Containing kaolin clay, walnut shells and fruit acids; this is thick and creamy with a gritty touch to it. On application, it feel warm at first and then it settles. After five minutes, you simply remove it with a damp face cloth and you can instantly feel — and see — the difference. I love how it makes my face feel so fresh and nourished!

This is a 30ml bottle and I imagine I’d get 3-4 uses from it. As it’s got that gritty feel to it; I’d say you shouldn’t use it more than once a week. Glamour states that this 30ml bottle is worth £12 but I noticed on the company’s site they only have 75ml bottle which cost £18. Either way, It’s a lovely indulgent product to have for when you’re in the mood for some pampering. I applied mine during a long hot bubble bath and it was total bliss! Overall, this one is well worth checking out.
