At the weekend, I headed in to Dublin city centre for my first ever blogger’s meet-up! I have to admit, I was so nervous at the time but now I’m really glad I went. I got to meet and chat with fellow bloggers; watch demos from Nima Brush and Benefit and enjoy a glass of wine (or maybe two!) in the Russell Court Hotel’s Library Bar. The event had been organized by the lovely Hannah of Love Life and Make Up. The afternoon was such a success and included great tips from beauty experts, a raffle which raised over €240 for Breast Cancer Ireland and fabulous goody bags for every attendant!
Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be doing posts on the various products that I received in this goody bag. I didn’t know what to try first but since it’s always nice to start the week with a fresh manicure, I settled on one of the nail polishes to kick things off ;-).
I’ve tried Rimmel Salon Pro before and I’ve been a fan of this collection from the beginning. They have these great flat and wide brushes for easy application and the vibrant range of colours give your nails a gel shine finish. Today, I applied no. 444 Seduce. This is a rich and glossy purple colour. Maybe because I have a slight obsession with chocolate but this shade really reminds me of a Dairy Milk bar! It has a dark, luxurious feel to it and would certainly suit every skin tone and occasion — I’m very happy to add this one to my permanent collection :-).
