Berry Kiss Cocktails

We don’t usually go out for dinner on Valentine’s. I prefer to stay in as it’s one of the few days in the year that my boyfriend will volunteer to cook! He doesn’t often make dinner but on occasions like this; he always goes all out and makes something really special. How could I resist?!

While he takes care of the food, I’ll come up with the drinks. I think, for the day that’s in it, a vibrant red beverage is an absolute must. For a cocktail that I’ve named Berry Kiss; I mix together roughly 1 measure of raspberry vodka, 1 measure of lime cordial and 2 measures of cranberry and raspberry juice. The taste is fresh and fruity with a sweet little kick to it. These are easy to make and even easier to drink. They’re particularly beautiful after a big meal with a few fresh strawberries (preferably dipped in chocolate!) on the side. Simple but sweet and so romantic :-).

    1. Not yet! I was struggling to choose between raspberry and mango this weekend but I ended up going with raspberry because of Valentine’s 😛 Have you tried Mango? I’d love to know what it’s like!
