Nivea Lip Butter

The temperatures have yet to drop but my lips are already feeling a bit dry. It’s not the best look so when I spotted Nivea Lip Butters while doing my weekly food shop, I figured these pretty little tins could very well be of use. For just €1.99, how could I say no?

There are four in the range and I chose Raspberry Rosé. It’s a pretty pink shade and has a really lovely sweet and fruity scent. The texture is very soft and on the lips, it feels creamy and moisturising. The ‘butter’ gives a white-pink tint to your lips so if you’re not a fan of pale lips, you might want to give this one a miss. The tin contains 16.7g of product and it’s sleek and light enough to easily slip in to the smallest of bags. Like a lot of lip products, this does wear off easily enough so it’s good to have it on hand for when you need a top-up.

When I first started using this, I was immediately convinced that it wouldn’t be hugely effective because it felt quite light. However, I’m happy to report that after using it for the past week or so, my lips have stayed perfectly soft. I thought I might have to switch to something more ‘heavy duty’ for the winter but I think this might just work as well.

  1. I love when you run into a great find grocery shopping! These look fun. I am a Burt’s Bees chapstick freak but like a little color for spring and summer…I will be on the lookout for these…thanks!
