Homemade Pink Lemonade

Today felt like the first proper day of Spring. It was bright, sunny and dry from morning right up until evening. It was so nice to be able to go outdoors, see a clear sky and breathe in fresh (non-freezing) air. Isn’t it amazing how a simple change in temperature can cheer you right up?! Another thing that had me smiling today was a new discovery in the kitchen.

After making these last weekend, I had some leftover raspberries in the freezer. After a quick browse online, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with them. I allowed them to defrost and then I combined them with lemons, sugar and boiling water to make a deliciously refreshing drink. I’ve always loved pink lemonade but this was my first time making it from scratch. I’ve really been missing out because it’s unbelievably good (and so much better than the shop-bought stuff!). If you want to try it for yourself; I followed this recipe.

  1. MMMMMM I love to buy fancy lemonade (the good stuff, not the powder drink mix) and add berries! But I’m going to try this recipe, thanks for sharing.
