If you have some plain chicken fillets and you can’t decide what to do with them, this is a great solution. I served these up with some creamy mashed potatoes and it made for perfect comfort food.
I was making four pieces so I popped two in the oven and fried the other two to see how they compared. The baked version was surprisingly moister whereas the fried one was a lot crisper and crunchier. Cooked either way, they still taste great.
I would make this again but not too often, as it’s not the healthiest thing out there. Also there seemed to be a ton of washing-up to do afterwards! Nevertheless it was really tasty and it’s a handy “every once in a while” dish to have up your sleeve.
