Salted Dark Chocolate Truffles

Coming up to Christmas, it’s always handy to have a few extra treats around for when unexpected guests pop by. It’s definitely worth taking the time to create something delicious and homemade for your friends and family to enjoy. Salted dark chocolate truffles have a lovely luxurious feel about them and so they will really go down a treat, especially after a hard day’s shopping and gift-wrapping!


Bring 120ml double cream to the boil

Pour the cream over 400g of good quality, finely chopped dark chocolate into a bowl over simmering water.

Allow the mix to slowly melt and stir occasionally to make sure it’s all well combined.

Transfer the mix to a lined tray, allow it to cool and then leave in the fridge to firm up (roughly 2 hours)

When it’s set; slice it up and sprinkle with sea salt flakes. Keep in the fridge until you’re ready to enjoy them, and serve at room temperature.
