Pakistan army says Indian jets intruded airspace

Pakistan armed forces spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor claimed that IAF violated the LoC. He said that Pakistan was ready to go extra mile for peace but will give a befitting response to any Indian aggression.

India remains committed to a no-first-use policy, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said on Sunday, calling his country a "reluctant nuclear weapon state" whose quest to acquire the ultimate weapon was never based on a "military rationale", but rather on deterrence considerations, over threats coming from its longtime regional rival, Pakistan.

While Pakistan is claiming that Indian jets failed to hit any target and scrambled in haste due to PAF's quick response, Indian media has been quick to jump the gun to claim some sort of victory over Pakistan. Online plane spotters using flight tracking software did notice that there was an Indian Air Force Embraer EMB-145 airborne earlier warning aircraft in the skies near the border of Jammu and Kashmir and the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh to the south. Balakot is thought to be in Pakistani territory. Entire world community had expressed solidarity with India after the attack. There were "no casualties or damage". We assess that neither India nor Pakistan are eager to escalate military confrontations, and both countries in any case lack the means to achieve a decisive outcome in the disputed Kashmir region. Naz, a well-known anchor is renowned for her verbosity, in one of her news clips on Pakistan's Samaa TV she lashed out at India and called Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi a tea-seller PM.

Pakistan says Indian aircraft bomb its territory

The February 14 terror attack in Pulwama claimed lives of 40 CRPF personnel after an explosive-laden vehicle rammed a CRPF bus on the Jammu-Srinagar highway.

The pre-dawn attack destroyed terror pads in Balakot, Chakoti and Muzaffarabad, as well as Alpha-3 control rooms of Jaish-e-Mohammad terror outfit, the Times of India reported, citing Indian army sources.

About the February 14 Pulwama attack, the DG ISPR maintained that India has a history of "staging" such attacks before elections and events of global importance. An actual strike in that area would be significant since it is not in Pakistani-controlled Kashmir, but in Pakistan proper.
