Evidence in Concord Management meddling case has been altered and disseminated

Non-public materials from special counsel case used in pro-Russian effort to discredit Russia probe

The filings come from a court case where the Justice Department has accused the Russian company of having conducted a social media campaign to influence American voters in 2016, CNN reported.

One of those officers is businessman Evgeny Prigozhin, an associate of Russian President Vladimir Putin and known in Russia as "Putin's cook".

The Russian company is fighting the charges in federal court in Washington D.C. and has maintained USA and Russian legal representation.

Concord is among 13 Russian individuals and entities charged last February in connection with Mueller's probe.

Prosecutors cite a Twitter account that surfaced previous year purporting to have a stolen copy of evidence provided to the company.

Mueller's prosecutors said the documents were not stolen in a hack, but rather someone with access handed them off for public dissemination. "We got into a Russian lawyer company local net that had permission from ReedSmith (Russian attorneys) to view and download all the files they need from their database through the remove server".

Mueller's team pointed to the dissemination of its non-sensitive filings (which it did not blame on the law firm) as grounds for keeping sensitive evidence in the case under tight control. Concord is alleged to have funded the operation of the Internet Research Agency, a Russian troll farm that spread divisive content to USA audiences on social media as part of broader effort to meddle in the 2016 vote.

Fernando Alonso's team wins after race ends early due to rain
The 24-hour race ended a few minutes early due to poor weather conditions and was red flagged twice because of rain. In 2017, Alonso started fifth and led 27 laps before mechanical trouble left him with a 24th-place showing.

Prosecutors say that whoever created the webpage had access to at least some of the material provided by Mueller in the case.

"Some of the files they sent along did appear legitimate and were some of the things we'd already seen on those fake Twitter or Facebook pages before", Michel said.

"They'll have to make their decision within the Justice Department", he said of how to handle the report.

The Justice Department says the information, if sent to Russian Federation, would be obtained by Yevgeny Prigozhin, who is indicted as a co-conspirator but has not appeared before the court as well as other "unnamed individuals who are outside the jurisdiction of this Court".

It's unclear. Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker says the probe is "close to being completed" - the first official sign that Mueller's investigation may be wrapping up. Trump told the Daily Caller he has not spoken to Whitaker about whether the investigation is nearing its conclusion.

Mueller's office most recently indicted a longtime Trump confidant, Republican political operative Roger Stone, on charges of obstruction, witness tampering, and lying to Congress. The company pleaded not guilty in May.
